Staying Overnight at the Hot Springs and Hiking or Horse-riding to the heart of Ausangate
We made this route for those who want to get into the heart of Ausangate which represents
the crown chakra of Cusco. We will hike or horseride to the Ausangate 7 Lakes region, stop to
think and feel, and even stay one night in order to dive into this powerful area. As a matter of
fact, Ausangate holds a very strong field of nature, culture and energy.
On this route, we also enter the natural hot springs that Ausangate gives us as a big gift, in a
wonderful view.
Among the beauties of the route are having a nice break at Lake Urcos, passing by the Cuyuni
Mountain Pass, and visiting one of the most original markets of this region with an intact
culture.
The point we reached by vehicle is one of the base camps for Ausangate Mountain climbers.
Ausangate Mountain is still considered sacred by the people of the region. People ask
permission to it before opening any kind of energy work and space, even before praying. When
we are there, it serves as a mirror for us. Being on such a large and powerful mountain at such
a high altitude helps us to confront ourselves. "We have the chance to see our connection to
the present moment and where we are in our lives, perhaps from a little higher up."
