On out day of remembrance, and celebration of life, we warmly invite Ata's friends and peers to join us for 'The Great Balloon Chase: An Emotional Adventure,' a drama workshop designed to help children express themselves and find strength through play. Please book the slots for your children under age 9. Through creative play and role-playing, we'll explore emotions and foster a sense of community. This workshop focuses on resilience and emotional well-being, providing a nurturing environment for our children to connect and heal. We look forward to seeing you there. This workshop is lead by Mengu Turk. Mengu is a new mum and also a theatre facilitator and practitioner with a strong focus on children’s theatre and emotional wellbeing. Currently pursuing an MA in Theatre for Community and Education at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Mengu combines creativity with pedagogical approaches to engage young audiences. With extensive experience working with children and families, Mengu has delivered workshops on Turkish Shadow Theatre, improvisation, and emotional resilience. Through projects like Paws and Whiskers, a show and workshop on loss and resilience, Mengu helps children explore their emotions and develop coping strategies. Mengu also trained as an actor at Lispa (London School of Performing Arts) and The Poor School, bringing a wealth of performance skills to all facilitation work. Mengu is passionate about using theatre as a tool for emotional expression and creative learning. We will have additional volunteers who will assist children during the workshop. However, the attendance is under the responsibility of their own parents.
