Conscious Connected Breathwork is a self-healing somatic therapy. This means that we are working with the body in a bottom-up approach to healing, what can be known as a ‘therapy without talking’. The practice involves an open-mouth diaphragmatic circular breath, where there is no pause between the inhale and the exhale. This creates an activated breath, where we dramatically alter the body’s chemistry into an alkaline state, sending signals from the nervous system to the brain which evoke safety and deep rest. This joint breath session will be opening our day on our day if remembrance and celebration of life. Please book your spots with your children from age 9 and onwards. Come with comfortable clothing and a yoga mat and enjoy the ride. Breathing to this capacity allows the mind and body to reconnect to subconscious and suppressed emotions, memories, belief systems and behaviour patterns, in a set and setting which is safe and nurtured. This allows the body to release old emotions from cells and facia, as well as recode the nervous system responses to past trauma. Each session or group ceremony is supported and guided using music, voice and intuitive acupressure touch. Deeply therapeutic and transformational, these sessions reveal not only where we are holding on but what potential awaits when we allow ourselves to let go.
